PROFILE MISMATCH
In class we did a profile check by initiating certain tests that showed which part of your body had advantages over the others. I think that this was probably not the most effective way to find your profile type for my part because I filled out each tests according to the truth of the try and what I got for a match was completely off track to what I really feel that my profile is. Here is my definition.
Logic Dominant
Functional: Auditory, Verbal Movement
Limited Under Stress: Visual.
*Learns best by focusing on the auditory details. Processes by analysis verbalization and writing.
* Mikes Point Of View: I do not want to be strapped to a chair for the rest of my youth, spending it by sitting half of my life not even paying attention. I feel differently. I am constantly fidgeting with doo dads and gadgets in my desk. I have trouble standing still and cant stand being lectured all day. It sometimes feels unfair being in a world like this. I feel that if I am glued to my seat for much longer I am going to throw up. If only I had a Bean Bag For a Chair to keep me comfortable and a squish ball to fix my fidgeting problem. Life would be so much easier from then on. (To Bad Though...) And I am not the perfect person in vocabulary. I often stumble on words and have trouble speaking the English language at certain times. And most of the time I read directions or stories, I have trouble understanding some of the sentences and details.*Prefers structured learning and appreciates orderly sequencing of information.
* Mikes Point OF View:
Sometimes I guess this is true I like very neat instructions, but to tell you the truth, I feel comfortable or even "At Home" in messy areas. Such as my room. And my desk. And my closet, and my drawers and the couch near my room. But the reason I like messy spaces is that I have portable cushions wherever I choose to camp. Playing video games on a pile of dirty laundry next to a bag of chips and some soda is quite the life. But In this area of my profile is for the most part, true. Most of the time I am too much of a sloppy type of person to properly appreciate clean and orderly factors of matter.
*Has the ability to follow step-by-step instructions.
*Mikes Point Of View:
So can everybody else. This is one of the only points I agree in and thus cannot make big arguments like the two first paragraphs.
*Movements tend to be planned ( Thinks before moving ) Able to move forward even under stress.
*Mikes Point Of View:
The first is a LIE the second is true... For the most part.
Most of the time I do things that i did not expect to do. Here is a piece of the pie:
One tuesday at school I was feeling the rush of sugar and signed myself up for a skit in a school assembly. Three days later after skipping all the practices and forgetting about the show I sat down to watch and the show did not start until it was five minutes late. Forgetting that I was in the show did not cost me but it cost the performers. They had to do their skit with more lines for each person and the lines were forgotten multiple times. And only after the show did I realize what happened. Oops...
So I think that next time you do something like this, be sure to reconsider if you ever take this test and feel that the results they gave you were not... To put it in the most glib and simple format, the correct words for that sentence would be:
Satisfactory
Reliant
Truthful
Etc.
